Take a look at some of the Nertz Products made in the past.
Nertz The Card Game Atari ST game package by MajicSoft (1995)
|
Nertz The Card Game for Atari
As one of the final generations of the Atari ST games, Nertz The Card Game was described as
"revolutionary" and allowed connection via midi cables, modem or serial cables. It "allowed 9
computers to connect and also for two player action on the same PC." You could buy it then for
$29.95.
- (Amazing capabilities for a high speed multi-player game made in 1995).
Brought to life by developer John Ronnander of Oregon with the help of MajicSoft(a company no
longer in business), this game now seems to be a collectors item for both Atari and Nertz
enthusiasts since only a small amount of these games were distributed. If you have any pictures
of game play or the game itself feel free to let us know by contacting us.
Game Contributions:
John Ronnander (Creator, Designer)
MajicSoft (Publisher)
Dave Munsie (Sound, Music)

Sal Esquivel (Music)
Nurtz
From what we can tell, this 2-player card game was produced and
distributed by Bicycle (US Playing Card Company) in 1988. However not
much else is known about its brief lifespan.
When playing, calling "Nurtz" gave an extra 25 points and after nine rounds
the player with the highest score won. - (Nine rounds...pretty random huh?)
Nertz for RISC OS
This game was a free program written by Jonathan Cooper of the UK and can be found here: http://jonc.me.uk/software.html
We have tried to use an emulator of Risc OS for Windows however we still have yet to get the emulator to run properly so that we
can play the game and provided a screen shot or video. It was written sometime before the year 2003.
Jonathan himself has emailed us and told us that he doesn't plan on working on this software anymore. If you have Risc OS and
can play this game it would be appreciated if you could provide us with a screen shot or some additional information on the game.

This 4-player box set picture is the only bit of information that has surfaced relative to this game.
We would love to know more about this box set.
If you have more information on this game please Contact Us.
eNerts for Windows
This product was made by John Drake of Texas and was sold for about a year in 2000 on his
website, eNerts.com, for $12.95. This website is no longer in existence and we don't know the
details of what happened to it.
A trial version of this game has surface and can be downloaded from a website called
fileplanet.com You only get ten games or start ups until it won't let you play anymore. We don't
know where you can purchase the registration code if you are able to at all. Contact Us if you
have more information about this game.

Nerts in Java
Evidence of another Nerts game surfaced in 2007. From this website it looked as if it was still being developed
possibly for a Linux or GNU OS. However, there is a ZIP file containing Java code. Here is the link :
http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?7088
This site said that the project was terminated there, but for all we know the designer, Dmitry, still may be working on
it elsewhere.
Contact Us if you can give us some information on the code or if you have any information on the project itself.

Old NERTZ, Llc Decks (1997-2008)

The older decks shown here were manufactured by Hoyle.
Previous Owners: Nertz, Inc. (????-2003)
(Bill Stanforth, Greg Stanforth)
Current Owners: NERTZ, Llc (2003-Present)
(Michael Howard and Lynn Howard)
The "Nertz!" logo that we previously displayed on this page as an unknown logo now has been confirmed as the current Nertz, Llc logo. Quality
Nertz research found the logo months before the launch of the new design. Thanks, Meridian Direct.
